Barefoot Almond Elixir

A grounding, softening drink for the days when you long to root into the Earth and nourish your heart.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cold almond milk (MALK or other pure almond milk)

  • 1 tablespoon creamy almond butter (unsweetened)

  • 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup

  • ¼ teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon powder

  • Tiny pinch sea salt

  • Tiny pinch rose powder (about ⅛ teaspoon or less)

  • Light sprinkle of cacao powder (for dusting on top)

  • 2–3 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a glass or small bowl, stir together the almond milk and almond butter briefly to loosen.

  2. Use a handheld frother to blend until creamy and lightly airy.

  3. Add the maple syrup, cinnamon, rose powder, and sea salt. Froth again gently to combine.

  4. Pour into a favorite tall glass over ice.

  5. Dust the top with a light sprinkle of cacao powder.

  6. Walk barefoot into your garden, sip slowly, and let yourself be fully here.
