A Three-Day Fast in the Light of the Pisces Moon

This past week, I felt called into a three-day modified fast. It wasn’t something I had planned in advance — it arrived as an inner nudge, perfectly timed with the Pisces Full Moon and its six-month cycle of release and renewal. I discovered that fasting can feel like stepping into a thin space, where body and spirit shift into a quieter rhythm and messages seem easier to hear. I kept tea by my side, journal nearby, and allowed myself to simply listen.

My meals were pared down to roasted vegetables, nourishing broth, small portions of nuts, and supportive herbal teas. Enough to sustain me, but light enough to let my body rest and reset. Each day brought its own rhythm: the first was about letting go, the second about surrender, the third about clarity. Through it all there was a sense of alignment — like I was being carried by something larger than myself.

On the second night, in the stillness between sleep and waking, a phrase began to repeat itself over and over in my mind:

“True love does not destroy, it creates.”

It felt like a whisper from Spirit, a reminder that real love is not about tearing down, but about giving life — building, planting, nourishing what endures.

And then, as if the universe wanted to confirm the message, I opened a note from Jonny Waxman, the astrologer I’ve followed since 2012. In his WhatsApp message to followers, he shared:

“Everything you LOVE actually saves you from problems.
Everyone you LOVE gives you energy to be a WINNER.”

The timing could not have been more perfect — pure synchronicity. His words echoed the revelation I had just received, weaving inner and outer guidance together into one clear thread.

Looking back, I see how beautifully it all aligned: my body’s need for rest, my spirit’s need for renewal, and the Moon’s cycle of culmination. It was Magdalene’s energy, too—reminding me that nourishment isn’t always about adding more, but sometimes about emptying, fasting, and remembering the sacredness of the vessel we carry.

What this fast showed me is that when we pause, we make space for love to speak — not the fleeting kind, but the eternal kind that creates, saves, and strengthens us. Love becomes energy, vitality, and the quiet compass that points us toward life-giving choices.

As I return to my daily rhythm, I carry this phrase with me like a lantern:

“True love does not destroy, it creates.”

May it continue to remind me — and maybe you, too — to choose what builds, what nourishes, and what makes us more whole.

Pisces Full Moon Ritual

Tea: Brew a calming blend of chamomile, peppermint, and lemon balm. As the steam rises, imagine it carrying away any heaviness or confusion. With each sip, feel yourself soften, dissolve, and return to flow.

Journal: Write into these questions:

  • What am I ready to release so I may flow more freely?

  • What dream or intention from six months ago is now reaching its fullness?

  • Where in my life can I choose love that creates rather than destroys?
